Sharif investing in second shredder for Saudi yard

Soaring steel scrap prices have prompted Sharif Metals Ltd., a United Arab Emirates-based nonferrous scrap processor, to invest in a second shredder in Saudi Arabia.

Sharif Metals has operated a 1,750-horsepower shredder in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, for the past six months and is planning to install a new 3,000-hp shredder in central Saudi Arabia by the end....
