ISA logs higher earnings on lower revenue

Industrial Services of America Inc. (ISA), the Louisville, Ky., scrap processor and waste hauler, said its net income rose 35.4 percent in the third quarter despite a sharp decline in revenue compared with the same period last year.
The company issued a preliminary financial report indicating its net income climbed to $439,568 from $325,294 a year earlier on revenue that plunged 55.7 percent to $15.3 million from $34.6 million. The year-earlier quarter included revenue from a waste management contract that Industrial....
