Mexican waste hauler planning to operate ship dismantling yard

Promotora Ambiental SA de CV (Pasa), a Mexican waste hauler and landfill operator, said it plans to build and operate a ship dismantling yard in Lázaro Cárdenas on Mexico's southwestern coast.
In a statement, Pasa said its has signed a 20-year lease on land in this port city with an option to extend this for another 10 years. The company said it expects to invest about 63 million pesos ($5.8 million) and estimated that the proposed facility will produce 200 million pesos ($18.5 million) in revenue annually.....
