US copper scrap exports slide in September

U.S. copper and brass scrap exports slipped nearly 2.1 percent in September as shipments to India and Mexico plunged by two-thirds.

Exports dipped to 87,367 short tons from 89,219 tons in August, according to the latest figures from the U.S. Commerce Department, but were 50.8 percent ahead of 57,936 tons exported in September last year, and the year-to-date total of....
