Cosma buys Poland’s VAB in move to lift European stamping capacity

Cosma International Inc., a unit of automotive metal-forming supplier Magna International Inc., Aurora, Ontario, has purchased Poland's Vyroba Automotivnych Blotnikov (VAB) in a move to expand its stamping capacity in Eastern Europe.
The acquisition of Tychy, Poland,-based VAB will expand Cosma's class-A and body structure stamping capacity and help the company in the growing Eastern European market, Cosma executives said in a statement. The price of the acquisition....
