Ark. Aluminum OK’d to replace equipment damaged by blast

Federal inspectors have lifted restrictions on the work area at Arkansas Aluminum Alloys Inc., Hot Springs, Ark., where two people died in an Oct. 31 explosion.
The secondary aluminum producer hopes to have replacement equipment for making ingot installed in early January and operating by the end of the month, Richard Wolf, the company's president, said. "We've chosen a contractor to produce and install the new pouring machine."....
