More aluminum on tap for Spirit’s first-quarter auction

Spirit AeroSystems Holdings Inc., Wichita, Kan., expects to offer significantly higher quantities of briquetted aluminum borings and aluminum plate remnants in the coming quarter than were anticipated for the final three months of this year.
The auction list shows 2 million pounds of briquetted "pucks" are expected to be produced in the first three months of 2007, up from 1.6 million pounds in the current quarter, while plate remnants are projected at 1 million pounds, up from 600,000 pounds.....
