Contract vote scheduled at Eramet’s Marietta plant

Union members at Eramet SA's Marietta, Ohio, plant are set to vote on a new labor contract Wednesday after the France-based company's management made minor changes to its insurance policy and retirement benefits plans.
Workers will have the chance to return to work should they accept the terms of the new contract.
Eramet offered a 0.5-percent increase in its 401(k) plan, and said that under the terms of a new contract for every 6-percent contribution by a worker, they will match it by 5.5 percent, according to Jim Deem, a negotiator for the United Steelworkers union, said.....
