Indium spot prices remain flat, contract business still healthy

Indium spot prices have stalled in a range of $720 to $760 per kilogram amid scant volume, but contract demand is strong.
A U.S. trader said customers are taking monthly allotments but spot activity is nearly non-existent. "People are taking contracted volumes, but no one is looking for extra material," he said. Contract activity for 2007 was healthy, he added. "That business is strong. People are booking material for next year."....
