China steel traders cast doubt on further export tax changes

Chinese steel traders think it is unlikely that their government will further adjust steel export taxes in the middle of December, as it has been widely expected to do.

"It is only one week away and, given that the Chinese government has already changed the steel policy twice since mid-September, I do not think it will do it again Dec. 15," a steel trader in Shanghai said last week.....
