Quanex denies Nichols unit to go back on sales block

Quanex Corp., Houston, denies that it will be shopping for a buyer for its Nichols Aluminum Corp. aluminum sheet business sometime during the coming year.
The breakout of Nichols Aluminum financial results in Quanex's fourth-quarter earnings statement could be a signal that it is thinking about selling the business, KeyBanc Capital Markets analyst Mark Parr said in a research note.....
