Commodity investment to grow Barclays

More investors are pouring increasing volumes of cash into commodities, according to a survey unveiled by Barclays Capital in New York Tuesday.
New products and increased transparency in commodities markets are luring in new investors and leading existing players to increase their holdings, according to Kamal Naqvi, director of commodity sales in New York for Barclays.
"There has been a steep increase in the issuance of commodity-linked products," Naqvi said. This serves both to broaden the base of investors and increase the number of ways they can gain exposure to commodities, he said.....
