Tighter supplies, strong demand pushing cadmium prices higher

Cadmium prices have risen further as supplies tighten amid continued strong demand, market sources said this week.

One trader said he was seeing prices in a range of $1.75 to $1.85 per pound for 99.95-percent material, with demand coming mainly from China as material becomes less available. "Supply is tight,"....
