Alumina refinery in Point Comfort is operating normally, Alcoa says

A report that production at Alcoa Inc.'s alumina refinery in Point Comfort, Texas, has been cut is not accurate, according to a company spokesman.

The spokesman said in response to an analyst's note that the refinery continues to operate within its "historical range," which varies daily. The facility's nameplate capacity is nearly 2.04 million tonnes....
