Quanex Corp., Houston, has agreed to buy the Atmosphere Annealing Inc. subsidiary of Maxco Inc., Grand Ledge, Mich.
Quanex, which makes steel and aluminum components for the automotive and building products markets, said the purchase of Atmosphere Annealing by its Quanex Technologies Inc. subsidiary is expected to close around Feb. 1. The sale is subject to governmental approval and the approval of Maxco shareholders. ....
