SDI worker dies loading beams on rail cars at Indiana plant

An accident at Steel Dynamics Inc.'s (SDI's) Columbia City, Ind., plant on Thursday left one worker dead. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
James K. Hall, 41, was killed Thursday morning while loading wide-flange beams for rail-car shipment at the plant. The Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration, a division of the Department of Labor, is scheduled....
