GM, Delphi see more delays on labor deals

Executives of General Motors Corp. and supplier and former subsidiary Delphi Corp. are expecting further delays in efforts to wrap up labor deals and the Chapter 11 reorganization of Delphi.

G. Richard (Rick) Wagoner Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of Detroit-based GM, told reporters that a labor deal with Troy, Mich.,-based Delphi and the United Auto Workers union would not be completed by the end of 2006.....
