Labor talks at Xstrata’s Altonorte continue

Labor negotiations between union leaders and Xstrata Plc's Altonorte copper smelter in Chile continue as both sides attempt to head off industrial action planned for Monday.
A spokeswoman for the Zug, Switzerland,-based mining group said discussions were still taking place and that the company remained confident that a deal could be struck.....
