Glencore buys 25,000T of stockpile ferromanganse

Glencore Ltd., Stamford, Conn., has been awarded 25,000 short tons of high-carbon ferromanganese from U.S. government stocks, the Defense National Stockpile Center (DNSC) said Thursday.

The company, an affiliate of Glencore International AG, paid $15.64 million for the material, or an average of $625.60 per ton.....
