CSN terminates merger agreement with W-P

What has been known for weeks now is official. Cia. Siderurgica Nacional, Sao Paulo, Brazil, has terminated its merger agreement with Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., Wheeling, W.Va.
The announcement was made Friday, a little less than two months after an Oct. 24 announcement in which the two companies said they agreed to merge. Their plan was scuttled Nov. 17 when Wheeling-Pittsburgh....
