Molybdenum prices soften on scarce spot sales

Molybdenum prices are softening as spot sales slow to a near halt, market sources said.
Sources said molybdenum oxide is now selling for between $24.50 and $25.50 a pound, down from a previous range of $25 to $26 a pound.
Ferromolybdenum has also experienced some downward pressure and is now changing hands between $26 and $27 a pound, down from $27 to $28.50 a pound previously.....
