Service center stocks, shipments drop in Nov.

Steel inventories held by U.S. service centers dipped in November for the first time in a year, falling 1 percent to 16.6 million tons vs. the previous month but still 33 percent higher than in November 2005, according to Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI) data.
Aluminum inventories held by service centers also fell, dropping 1.1 percent to 388,200 tons compared with October, ending a rise that started in April, the Rolling Meadows, Ill.,-based MSCI's monthly metals activity report showed.....
