China buys boost copper scrap exports 9% in Oct.

U.S. copper and brass scrap exports jumped 9 percent in October following a firming in demand from Chinese consumers.

Red metal exports reached 95,244 short tons during the month, up from 87,367 tons in September, according to the latest figures from the U.S. Commerce Department. The October figure also marked a 46-percent increase from the same month last year, when exports totaled 65,473 tons.....
