Timken sells automotive steering unit to DriveSol in reorganization

In a further effort to advance its automotive group's restructuring plans, Timken Co., Canton, Ohio, has sold its automotive steering business.

DriveSol Worldwide Inc., Troy, Mich., purchased the steering business, which operates facilities in Watertown, Conn., and Nova Friburgo, Brazil. The terms of the sale were not disclosed.....
