A Chinese copper industry executive has lashed out at smelters in South Korea and India for leaving China with little option other than to accept lower treatment and refining charges (TC/RCs) for 2007.
A top executive at the Copper Smelter Purchase Team (CSPT), the group of leading smelters that negotiates on behalf of the industry, confirmed to Chinese state media that TC/RCs had been settled with BHP Billiton at $60 per tonne/6 cents per....
