Altonorte seals contract; plant back at full tilt

Xstrata Plc's Altonorte copper smelter in Chile has returned to full capacity after workers agreed to a new contract late Tuesday, ending a two-day strike.

"We reached a new labor agreement at 9 p.m. (local time) last night," an Xstrata spokesman in Chile said Wednesday. "The workers returned just after the deal was signed and as of now we're back running at full capacity."....
