Zinc premiums pressured as stocks build up

An end-of-year slowdown continues to put pressure on zinc premiums as stocks slowly build up in London Metal Exchange warehouses.
Despite the slowdown—which has seen LME prices erode since the beginning of the month—sources said premiums for special high-grade zinc are steady at 12 to 13 cents per pound. Premiums for die-casting alloys remain between 21 and 22 cents per pound for Nos. 3 and 7; 23 to 24 cents per pound for No. 5; and 25 to 26 cents per pound....
