AK-IAM labor talks hit snag; no new meetings scheduled

The holiday season is typically a time for people to come together, but it appears negotiators for AK Steel Corp. and locked-out workers at its Middletown, Ohio, plant are drifting further apart.
Negotiators for the company and Local Lodge 1943 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) union met for less than an hour Friday morning as they continued to try to bring an end to a nine-month-plus lockout of hourly production and maintenance workers at AK's headquarters plant.....
