Delphi hearing on funding plan postponed by court to Jan. 11

A U.S. Bankruptcy Court hearing on proposals to finance automotive supply giant Delphi Corp., Troy, Mich., including an equity funding plan after it emerges from bankruptcy protection, has been delayed to Jan. 11 from Jan. 5.

Judge Robert Drain of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York has postponed the hearing to allow more time for preparation of arguments on a $3.4-billion investment plan and support agreement proposed by Appaloosa Management LP and....
