Tin strong, other metals rangebound in light trading

Tin prices continued to hover around modern highs amid supply concerns as most other metals showed little movement in light Christmas week trading on the London Metal Exchange.

Three-month tin ended Thursday's kerb at $11,600 per tonne after touching $11,800 per tonne in premarket trading, its highest level since 1989, when LME trading in the metal was restored following the 1985-86 Tin Crisis. The metal closed the previous day at $11,500 per tonne.....
