Sudbury negotiations take short holiday break

Contract negotiations between Xstrata Plc and union leaders representing workers at the group's nickel mining and processing operations in Sudbury, Ontario, were set to resume quickly following a short New Years holiday break.

Talks between the two sides have so far focused on language, but should get to wages and benefits soon, a union official said Friday.....
