Blechschmidt steps in as Novelis’ interim chief

Novelis Inc. has named board member Edward A. Blechschmidt as its acting chief executive officer.
The search for a full-time replacement continues, the Atlanta-based aluminum rolled products company said Friday.
Blechschmidt succeeds William T. Monahan, chairman, who has been interim chief executive officer since August when Brian W. Sturgell was fired (AMM, Aug. 30). Monahan remains chairman.....
