Ferguson Metals slates $1.3-million expansion

Ferguson Metals Inc. plans to break ground on a $1.3-million expansion by the end of this month.
The Hamilton, Ohio,-based service center, which specializes in processing stainless steel and nickel-based alloys, is adding 39,000 square feet to its existing 63,000-square-foot headquarters, which includes offices and a warehouse. The expansion is expected to be completed in November.
Wayne Ferguson, president, said the majority of the expansion is warehouse space to accommodate the growing business. "The continued growth of our business has us splitting at the seams," he said. "Additional space is required not only to accommodate our current level of business, but also to support our plans for continued growth."....
