Dana signs two deals for heat-treat technology

Automotive components manufacturer Dana Corp. has signed agreements with German and Austrian heat-treating systems manufacturers to develop a microwave atmospheric plasma technology Dana originated.
Toledo, Ohio,-based Dana has already identified a number of potential uses for the technology and has completed proof-of-concept and technical and commercial analysis for carburization and nitriding applications.....
