Fire destroys Shenango conveyor belt, unrelated to emission issues

A fire at Shenango Inc. destroyed a conveyor belt and its electrical and lighting systems.

The Sunday-morning blaze resulted from an operational problem and was unrelated to recent emission issues that could result in fines for non-compliance, said James Birsic, Shenango's vice president of health, safety, environment and legal affairs.....
