China taking import license applications again

China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) is again accepting applications from overseas suppliers seeking to export scrap to China.

The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Washington, said the Chinese agency's announcement is available on the ISRI Web site (www.isri.org). An English translation of the application is available to ISRI members only at www.isri.org/aqsiq.....
