Intermet gets OK for reorganization financing

Automotive castings supplier Intermet Corp. said the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Detroit had approved a financing plan that would underwrite a $75-million equity investment connected to Intermet's proposed reorganization.
The Troy, Mich.,-based company announced a month ago that the court had denied its initial motion for the financing commitment, but noted that the company had the right to resubmit the motion.....
