Smelter grades of aluminum up slightly in slow-moving market

Smelter grades of aluminum scrap are inching upward in price, but the competition for material is light enough that buyers can choose their own pace in making the adjustment.

Some sellers appear to be getting 2 cents a pound more than the Aug. 1 levels for sheet and cast. However, other sellers say the early August price structure continues in place.....
