Boeing 4th-qtr. puck offerings shrink in Wash.

Boeing Co. is offering slightly smaller quantities of briquetted aluminum borings from its plants near Seattle in the fourth quarter, but a significant increase in 7000-series alloys.
The Fredrickson, Wash., plant will be offering two lots of the briquetted "pucks," each about 850,000 pounds, down from projected lots of 900,000 pounds in the current quarter but up from second-quarter lots of 650,000 pounds. Two similar lots at Auburn, Wash., are projected at 800,000 pounds each, less than the current quarter's 850,000....
