No ferrochrome bargains, market sources say

Prices for high-carbon ferrochrome are holding at 64 to 66 cents per pound, market participants said this week.

Reports of business at 60 to 61 cents per pound were rejected by several sources as unrepresentative of the market. "Ferrochrome is holding at 64 to 66 cents," one trader said. "The numbers are not anywhere near 60."....
