Titanium scrap prices are surging in Europe as supplies tighten and prices for ferrotitanium soar.
Titanium scrap dealers in Russia and Ukraine have made a concerted effort to restrict the flow of material to the market, which is exerting significant upward pressure on prices as those who need to buy scrap to meet their production commitments are forced to pay higher prices, trade sources said.....
