USTR selects former GM exec to develop China trade policy

The U.S. Trade Representative has added an expert on China and its manufacturing capabilities to his staff to aid its formation of U.S. trade policy.
U.S. Trade Representative Rob Portman has named former General Motors Corp. executive Tim Stratford as assistant USTR for China affairs. He will be charged with developing and implementing U.S. trade policy on China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao and Mongolia.....
