US aluminum exports slide for second month

Even after two successive months of decline, U.S. exports of aluminum scrap in July remained nearly 70 percent ahead of the 2004 pace.
China's share of the overseas shipments rose to nearly 59 percent from 53 percent in June by physical volume, and to 55 percent from 51 percent by reported value. The calculations include Hong Kong as part of China, although the U.S. Commerce Department lists their raw figures separately.....
