Marad contracts send four more Ghost Fleet vessels on their way

The U.S. Maritime Administration (Marad) said it has issued contracts to four U.S. ship scrappers to dismantle four vessels from its National Defense Reserve Fleet, also known as the Ghost Fleet.
Two of the ships are part of the James River Reserve Fleet in Virginia, while the other two are anchored in Suisun Bay near San Francisco. Three will be towed to shipyards near Brownsville, Texas, to be dismantled, while one from the James River site will go to the Bay Bridge Enterprises yard in nearby....
