No. 1 heavy melting steel exports climb again

U.S. exports of No. 1 heavy melting steel scrap rose in July for the third consecutive month, continuing the heady pace that started in May.
Shipments of the bellwether grade of cut steel scrap to foreign steel mills and foundries totaled 298,454 tonnes in July, according to the latest Commerce Department figures, a 3.7-percent gain from 287,685 tonnes the previous month and just 20,000 tonnes shy of the one-month record of 318,775 tonnes exported in August 1995.....
