Indian agency blocks unshredded metallic imports from Iranian port

Indian Customs officials have barred shipments of unshredded metal scrap from the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas because of fears that cargoes might contain unexploded artillery shells and weapons from the Afghanistan conflict.
Bandar Abbas is close to Iran's border with Afghanistan. Scrap that originated there was blamed for an explosion that killed 10 workers at a steel mill in Ghaziabad, India, last year.....
