Hyundai orders Metaldyne machined p/m rods

Automotive components manufacturer Metaldyne Corp., Plymouth, Mich., has launched first-phase production of fully machined powder metal connecting rod assemblies for Hyundai Motor Co. engines being manufactured in Montgomery, Ala.The first-phase assemblies are being used in the new 3.3-liter Lambda engines made at the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama Inc. plant for use in the 2005 Hyundai Sonata sedan.....
