C-Com attracts more backers for scrap futures

The Central Japan Commodity Exchange (C-Com) has succeeded in attracting more backers for its scrap futures contract, but traders remain uncertain over the contract's immediate prospects.
The shindachi, or factory bundles, contract-the world's first scrap futures contract-was set to start trading Monday, with the number of brokers agreeing to support the contract having risen to 44 from just 10 brokerage houses in August, C-Com said.....
