Novelis expands British plant's capacity 25%

Atlanta-based Novelis Inc. has completed a $2.5-million capital investment at its Warrington recycling plant in northwest England.
The new equipment adds 25 percent to the capacity of a plant that recycled 6 billion discarded cans in the first nine months of the year, Novelis said. The U.K. ratio per pound is probably similar to the U.S. market, where a pound of aluminum contains about 33.9 cans.....
