C-Com eyes next step as ferrous trading starts

The world's first exchange-traded ferrous scrap futures contract, launched on the Central Japan Commodity Exchange (C-Com) Monday, attracted almost 15,000 lots in its first day of trading.
Contracts for shindachi (similar to No. 1 factory bundles) for delivery in February, March and April closed at 26,770 yen ($235), 26,900 yen ($236) and 27,230 yen ($239), respectively.....
